SSC MTS 2024: Application Status and Exam Details
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has begun releasing the application status for the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar 2024 recruitment exam. Candidates can now check whether their applications have been accepted or rejected by visiting their respective regional SSC websites.
The SSC Eastern Region has already updated the application status on its website, and other regional websites are expected to follow soon. The admit cards for the exam are anticipated to be released next week.
Important Exam Dates:
- Exam Period: September 30 to November 14, 2024
This yearтАЩs recruitment has seen an unprecedented number of applications, with a record-breaking 57 lakh applicants vying for 9,583 vacancies. This means that, on average, 595 candidates are competing for each post.
Exam Pattern:
The SSC MTS Havaldar recruitment exam will be conducted in two sessions on the same day:
Session 1:
- Subjects: Numerical and Mathematical Ability, Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving
- Format: 20 questions from each subject
- Marks: 60 marks per subject
- Total Questions: 40
- Qualifying Criteria: Candidates must score a minimum of 30 percent (12 out of 40 questions) to qualify
- Negative Marking: None
Session 2:
- Subjects: General Awareness, English Language and Comprehension
- Format: 25 questions from each subject
- Marks: 75 marks per subject
- Total Questions: 50
- Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer
Final Merit List: The merit list for the MTS post will be based on the marks obtained in Session 2.
